Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery – Gameplay Tips and Tricks

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery is a fun-filled game that makes an aspiring witch or wizard learn new spells and potions. There are a lot of tips and tricks that you can check out to improve your performance in the game. As they say, always play smart! So here are some pointers which can help you progress faster and become the best wizard or witch in Hogwarts.

Make Use Of Your Idle Time

Once you use up your Energy Points, there’s nothing much you can do but wait for it to be refilled. Yes, this is probably the most frustrating thing about the game. Since you cannot fulfill quests and perform tasks without energy, you really have to wait for it to be refilled.

While your energy is filling up, other characters are also recharging and taking a break too. This waiting time can also be beneficial if you know how to make use of it. That’s because you can use this idle time to learn or practice new spells! Read and study your spells well, so that you can perform it flawlessly once you start playing again.

Be a Good Student

We all know that being a disciplined student will reap rewards in the end. Even in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, lots of rewards await you if you are consistently a good student. Being a good classmate or student will earn you House Points and other rewards too!

But most of all, try to focus on your studies. Yes, being a Hogwarts student means you need to get good grades too! You don’t have to be like Hermione Granger, but no one’s stopping you either! So go and make elixirs, practice spells, brew potions correctly, and take flying lessons as much as you can. Aside from that, don’t forget to build alliances and form friendships throughout your stay in Hogwarts!

Take Long Classes at Night

In Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, there are lessons in school that can go on for as long as 8 hours. So instead of taking this during the day, why not leave this for the night? This way, you can conveniently resume your gameplay once you wake up in the morning.

The same rule also applies for tasks and quests which take 8 hours or more to accomplish. However, do take note that these tasks will require energy. So make sure you still have enough left to actually do anything. If you want to know how you can maximize and acquire free energy, you can learn here on our next post!
